This Is Why I Follow The "Dumb Money"

Hey guys and gals, Every day, there are traders trying to hit home runs — only to swing and miss… and try again the next day. Rather than just trying to get some base hits on the board, they buy deep out of the money (OTM) options in hopes of making a fortune overnight. The trades they place are what I like to call "lottery tickets". You see, they're putting their money behind bets with such low odds, it's almost as if they don't care about their money. To me, that's the quickest way to get burned and damage a trading account. If you truly want to be a successful trader, I believe understanding the odds is key. Take a look at some of the low-odds bets that came across my screen on Wednesday...     These are "sucker bets" or "dumb money" trades to me.  I leverage this information and take the opposite side of the "dumb money". The one indicator I'm focused on is "% Chance OTM". It lets me know the odds of success on a specific trade, so I can better stack the odds to my favor. How does this all work?
